Karun Chandhok hoping to seal 2011 seat deal by December end

Karun Chandhok made his F1 debut with Hispania Racing Team this year, and was replaced by Sakon Yamamoto in mid-season despite leading the new teams drivers list, but karun still soars at 22nd place in driver’s standing putting his three teammates behind him.

Now, Karun has switched his focus to 2011 race seat, and has been in talks with, almost, four teams including Indian team Force India and his present team Hispania and is hoping to seal a deal by end of December for the full time 2011 race seat.

Vicky Chandhok, Karun’s father, is key man behind bringing formula 1 to India and also close friend of Force India owner Dr. Mallya, and through him Karun is in link with Force India.
If you remember last year, after GP2 succes, Dr. Mallya granted him a simulator drive of Force India.
