Formula 1 Points System Comparison

2010 Formula1 season is heading towards the end with almost 5 main
drivers contending for the Driver’s title of the year. There have been
some changes in the points scoring system for this year. As increase
in number of teams and driver, F1 gives chance to most of top 10
drivers of the race to scope points with winner getting 25 points and
next line up getting 18 – 15 – 12 – 10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2 – 1.

But if we look at previous point system and compared them with 2010
top five drivers, we get some good numbers, have a look –

Vettel – 206

Button – 189

2003 – 09 point system

Pre 2003 points system
Top 6 drivers

    whatever, we must keep in mind dat now dis points sysytems are not in use…
    better to think and talk about new with top 10 drivers

    @mantra @manish it doesnt matter the most, if we look at previous points systems, force india will lose 6th spot…
    so happy dat they are not in use
